The Kia Stinger is one of the most significant performance cars launched in recent years - a rear-wheel-drive (or AWD) sport sedan that directly challenged BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe and Audi A5 Sportback. Produced from 2017 to 2023, the Stinger GT with a 3.3L twin-turbocharged V6 (365 hp) delivered 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 270 km/h. Developed under Peter Schreyer's design leadership and Albert Biermann's performance direction (both from BMW M), the Stinger achieved what no Korean car had managed before: genuine performance luxury credibility.
